Sales Unreal - What went down

The Original Recap: #

(Written by Damien’s player)
“We started off the session with a trip to the convenience store on Black Friday around the afternoon. The ride took place in Damien’s car which had Irene in the front smoking a cigarette and putting on a French facade. Blair sat in the back and was adamant about buying a blender for Damien’s milkshake addiction. (No one knows why he has that). As metal music blared all the way to the store Jeff had made it inside and was on the hunt for cigarettes. The angry med student needed something to take the edge off.

The trio after exiting the parked car were approached by a homeless man on the way in and handed us a note. (The note is in the oneshot chat and says something along the lines of people dying and some sort of ritual). After receiving the note the three split off. Irene heads to the clothing racks, Blair struggles to get Irene and Damien to focus while Damien seems to wander aimlessly. Jeff remains on the hunt for his items. Then out of nowhere an announcement is made to the shoppers on the intercom, but it isn’t finished. It stops halfway sounding like a radio dying and the lights go off. There is a slight panic amongst customers.

Damien takes this opportunity to trip Irene and Jeff since they had wandered nearby in search for their items. Irene managed to snag a blazer with beautiful buttons right when she was tripped, With Irene landing on top of Jeff. Jeff uses his telekinesis to push Irene off of him and Irene face plants into the ground. After that the lights come on and Damien can be seen nearby with a suspicious look on his face. As Jeff gets to his feet he notices the store is eerily quiet… almost like the shoppers are gone. The only ones present are Irene, Jeff and Damien. Blair is nowhere to be seen.

As Damien asks what the two have been up to and why the lights went out he notices Irene’s stolen blazer in her bag. He reaches for it with a grin and asks why she wanted some frumpy old blazer. Meanwhile Irene scolds him for not knowing her cultural customs (all in her French facade) of buttons and their significance. She holds on to the blazer and Damien recoils and sees as Irene holds the blazer up to him so he can look at the buttons. Damien settles for calling Irene a weirdo and Jeff also quite strange. But before the group can argue more Jeff climbs a nearby shelf to get a view of the store and see other customers. He’s unsuccessful. Meanwhile Damien hears some weird squeaky noises while checking the aisles around them for people. And soon enough he catches a glimpse of zombified people, their eyes glassy and actions violent. A middle aged man pushing a shopping cart filled with rotten substances from the store oozes onto the floor as he slowly pushes the cart. Two kids are on either side of him, one slimmer one fatter. They spot Damien and demand he play with them, sprinting full force ahead. Damien takes off sprinting after grabbing the two children and slamming them against one another. Irene hears the commotion and attempts to find Damien, but slips in her swiftness to find the source of Damien’s distress. Jeff climbs down from the shelves and moves to aid Damien, following his voice of fear. Damien in his chase creates a barrier of random shit as an obstacle, however one child makes it through and manages to headbutt Damien in the stomach. Damien in response punches the child in the face, hard. Resulting him to stumble. Jeff is able to aid Damien since he has arrived and kicks the child as hard as he can, resulting in blood splatter and the child most likely bleeding out on the floor. Irene managed to find some plates and rushes over to also aid. She threw a number of plates toward the child stuck behind the obstacle created by Damien, making sure the targets were dead. Jeff didn’t stop at the children. By now their father had approached the obstacle with the shopping cart. Jeff wasted no time in jumping the father and killing him as well, meanwhile Irene encouraged Jeff and his antics saying something along the lines of “no survivors”.

After the family issues are resolved the group decides to try and figure out what is happening, it’s almost as if they are in a parallel universe. Damien does an occult check and figures they are in some sort of ritual. The team decides to head to the source which is most likely a secluded area meaning the staff rooms. As they cross the convenience store they flee or distract the zombifed humans to get to the staff break room. Damien is saved by Irene via frozen turkey and Jeff remains behind to see the swarms of zombie people obsess over a plushie. (Damien also finds a pair of chonklas that can be used as a duel weapon) Irene and Damien make it to the source of the ritual and Damien figures out how to make it stop which is via snuffing ritual since the ritual was conducted with candles. But he also notices that the type of ritual being performed shouldn’t even be working. But nonetheless Irene effortlessly solves the candle puzzle and Damien assists her with snuffing out the candles in the correct order. After that is done the building seemingly goes back to normal and Damien and Irene are escorted out of the staff only area and scolded at by Blair who somehow landed outside. They leave with Irene obtaining a nasty old blender from the father with the grotesque shopping cart. To which Damien refuses to touch or use. However… the group doesn’t know if the ritual has stopped… or if the people they killed were ghosts or real? Something feels off either way as the group leaves.” "

“La Chancla - A set of flip flops, use by mothers to (gently) hit children with. Deals 1d3 + DB (Fighting: Brawl), but can be dual wielded.
Additionally, Blair recieved a random bag full of food from an old lady. The food was delicious.”
